Poppy flower necklace in gold

Our beautiful poppy flower necklace in rolled gold is a simple chain with a poppy motif hand-stamped on a medium sized disc.

The poppy flower has a strong association with remembrance, making this a perfect necklace to remember a loved one or to gift to somebody who has had a loss.  The poppy is also the birth month for August so makes a lovely keepsake gift for those with an August birthday.  Poppies are found growing wild and free in meadows and the countryside so the necklace would also be a lovely gift for anyone with a free spirit. 

The poppy stamp was designed in our studio and is unique to Lulu + Belle.  This necklace comes with a poppy meaning card.

What is Rolled Gold ? 

* Rolled gold or gold filled is an actual layer of pure gold pressure-bonded ('rolled') to the core metal. Rolled Gold is not to be confused with gold plating or vermeil as rolled gold literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Rolled gold is much more valuable and tarnish resistant and with care, will last for years.
